Integral Ecology and Sustainability
Recorded at Integral Institute's first Ecology and Sustainability seminar, these clips provide an introduction to integral ecological awareness. The premise of Integral Ecology is simple: only by using a better map of ourselves will we be able to help save Gaia. An all-quadrant, all-level map—one that includes both complex ecological systems and interior levels of human development—shows that it's not enough to be able to see the problem, one must also be at a moral stage where one is motivated to act upon it. Moreover, any activist has to build social consensus between people with different cultural contexts, economic backgrounds, behavioral patterns, and levels of interior development. Not an easy task! But one made easier, we hope, by using an integral map....
